At some point last week a lot of us thought that Game 4 would be it, and that the Boston Celtics would beat the Dallas Mavericks and sweep the Finals 4-0. But the Mavericks have done what we thought was impossible. They were the first team in NBA history to come back from a 3-0 deficit in the Finals. Betting on the NBA finals will be at its peak, as any game at this point could be the last of the season. Find out what to expect as the Mavericks and Celtics face off on Game 5 of the NBA tonight.
Tipoff is scheduled for 8:30 PM ET at the TD Garden in Boston. Given their lead in the series, and the venue for the game, its unsurprising to see the Celtics as 6.5 favorites to win tonight. Will the Celtics bag the Championship trophy tonight?

Can the Mavs Cover?
A lot of fans will be looking at Luka Doncic to carry the game. The guard is an all-around threat wherever you place him in the court. He also excels in the free throw line. In this Finals series, Doncic averages 22.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 5 assists per game. If Doncic and the likes of Kyrie Irving can pull off scoring well (Irving scored 21 points in Game 4), then they have a chance to win.
Of course, they will need to do this on the road. And they do so with a not so good record. The Mavs are 1-7 against the Celtics in their last games against each other. That 1 win was just a few days ago, so we hope they can sustain that pace and give us all a Game 6.
Will the Celtics Win Tonight?
A lot of sports analysts have said that this is the Celtics’ Finals to lose. This is quite obvious with the almost-sweep that we saw in the first few games of the series. Jaylen Brown has been nothing short of amazing. He averages 24.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game since the playoffs. When the Celtics won in Game 3, Bron scored 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists. Jrue Holiday strengthens the Celtics’ backcourt, scoring as much as 26 points in Game 2 of the Finals.
Of course, the Celtics can easily win this game, especially if they can prevent Doncic and Irving from being productive. They will also be playing at home, which could give the Celtics the motivation to win the Finals in front of their loyal fans. Granted, it won’t be easy. But it surely will be a very exciting game we all want to watch (and win money on).
